Dream Forest
35mm Film + 45 Year Old Camera
All images are from a certain area of forest which I hiked through regularly near Park City, Utah. It’s not a particularly beautiful section of forest and is mostly chaotic to the eyes. One day I began noticing something else about this area I passed through often while on the way to another place.
Each image was made with a single exposure and one attempt, not multiple attempts for one image. A variety of films were used resulting in various color hues. I wanted to challenge myself to evaluate light, envision a result and see the forest around me with a different set of eyes.
I wanted to dream.
