2024: In Review

17 Favorite Images

Photography has been a journey for me, some years more productive than others.  Some years more inspired than others.  It’s difficult to see this in the moment so I find a “year in review” insightful to my own vision and process.

2024 brought massive changes in my life from the year prior.  I felt, at times, that I stepped away from photography.  I felt I lost my vision and for a while, I did.  Creating images comes from within for me and is a reflection of an inner peace.  I don’t create from a place of unease, I rarely even see when under stress.  It’s during times of peace, calm and mental balance where I feel expression arise.

This year was interesting to reflect upon through images as I didn’t have many from the year, especially compared to the last several years.  I was fortunate enough to travel a little, have time to explore locally and ultimately immerse myself in an inspired environment.  The few images I made this year are from those times where I found mental balance and harmony in those environments.

I feel grateful to be rediscovering my vision and expression again, no matter where I happen to be.  This collection seems more intentional than past years, more design focused and less condition/location focused.  Another distinction from years past is that nearly half of the images were made on my phone camera and very near…home:)

Cheers to new horizons in 2025, thanks for reading along. Also, “Top 10’s” are so 2024✌️
